Carpet cleaning in Krakow
A carpet collects whatever we bring in from the street: grit, dust and damp. A vacuum takes
the top layer, but the particles settled at the base of the pile stay — and they are what makes
the colour look flat and the room smell stale. We clean carpets in Krakow by hot water

How the clean works
- Dry vacuuming — grit and hair out before any water goes in
- Applying a product matched to the fibre
- Dwell time so the soiling breaks down
- Extraction — the dirt is flushed out along with the product
- Moisture drawn off and the pile pre-dried
The carpet stays slightly damp. Full drying usually takes a few hours to a dozen or so,
depending on pile density and ventilation.

Synthetics take extraction cleaning very well. Wool needs a lower temperature and less water

and silk rugs we look at before starting, and we say plainly if wet cleaning is risky for them.

There is no need — we clean on site. The carpet does not disappear for days and there is
no risk of pieces being mixed up.
How long does a carpet take to dry?
Usually a few hours to a dozen or so. Airing the room shortens it noticeably.
You can walk on it sooner, ideally in clean indoor shoes.
Will cleaning remove pet odour?
In most cases yes — we use products that neutralise the odour rather than mask it.
Where the backing is deeply soaked,
ozone treatment helps as a follow-up.
Do you clean wool rugs?
Yes, with gentler settings. For hand-woven and silk rugs we assess the risk first
and say plainly if we would not recommend wet cleaning.
Does the furniture need moving?
We move lighter pieces ourselves. Heavy wardrobes and sofas are best emptied or moved
in advance if you want the floor under them cleaned.
