Post-renovation window cleaning in Krakow
A window after building work is a different task from a dirty window. Ordinary cleaner will not
shift dried mortar, paint spots or adhesive from masking tape — and careless scraping leaves
scratches that cannot be undone. That is why post-renovation window cleaning
is priced separately and done with different tools.

The difference is time: removing mortar and paint from a single pane can take as long
as cleaning several ordinary windows.

Why not to do it yourself
The most common mistake is dry-scraping with a blade. A grain of grit under the edge leaves
a scratch the full length of the stroke. Toughened glass is especially prone to this,
and scratches cannot be polished out — the only fix is replacing the unit.
We always work wet, softening the residue first, and keep the scraper at a constant angle.
Seals and PVC profiles are cleaned with products that do not dull them.
When to clean
After the dusty work is finished and the protective films are off, but before the furniture
goes in. The longer mortar and paint sit on the glass, the harder they bond — after a few weeks
removal is noticeably more difficult.

Will you get paint off without scratching the glass?
Yes — we work wet, after softening the residue. With toughened glass we take extra care
and tell you if the risk is real.
Do you remove protective film?
Yes. Film left too long in the sun can bake on — removing the adhesive then takes longer,
and we say so before starting.
Do you clean frames and sills too?
Yes, and they are usually the dirtiest part. Building dust settles in runners and seals,
so we clean those along with the glass.
What if the glass was already scratched?
We point it out before starting, so there is no doubt where the scratch came from.
Cleaning does not remove existing scratches.
