Post-construction cleaning in Krakow
Post-construction cleaning and post-renovation cleaning are two different jobs, even though
the names sound alike. After a flat refurbishment there is dust and a few paint marks.
After construction there is cement dust through the whole volume, mortar residue on the screed,
films on the joinery and stickers on every pane — and often no water or power on site yet.
How it differs from post-renovation cleaning
- Scale of dust — cement dust resettles, so the work is done in stages
- Type of residue — mortar, plaster, adhesive, expanding foam, silicone
- Protective materials — films, tapes and stickers to strip from glazing and joinery
- Utilities — sometimes we bring our own water and power
- Equipment — industrial vacuums rather than domestic ones

Why in stages
Construction dust is very fine and lifts with any air movement. After the first clean another
layer settles — so on larger sites two passes are planned: a rough one once work finishes
and a detailed one before handover. A single clean straight after the builders usually is not
enough, and it is worth knowing that before the quote.

Frequently asked questions
How much does post-construction cleaning cost?
Quoted after a site visit. Floor area, ceiling height, how much material is left behind
and whether two passes are needed all affect it.
Do you remove rubble?
We clear leftover material from the rooms and stage it for removal. Skip collection is quoted
separately — that is a different service from cleaning.
Do you need water and power on site?
It makes the work easier and cheaper. If there are no utilities we say so at quotation —
bringing our own power and water affects both time and price.
How long does it take?
Considerably longer than ordinary cleaning. For a detached house it is usually a team
working a full day or more.
Will you get mortar off the screed without damage?
On most floors yes, with the right softening and tools. On delicate surfaces we assess
the risk before starting.
Do you clean developer units before handover?
Yes, one of the most common jobs — including window cleaning and removing stickers from the glass.
